The Reverend Richard Frederick Hosken MA (TCD) was the Founding Junior Deacon of the Lodge and later Secretary.
Born on 4 December 1831 Hosken went to Merchant Taylors’ School before taking his degree at Trinity College Dublin and becoming a School Master returning to his alma mater.
He was initiated into Lodge of Prince Frederick No 307 in Yorkshire.
He was a habitué of the Langton Lodge of Instruction along with his fellow Founder Bué. He was exalted into the Sir Francis Burdett Chapter No 1503. He was exalted on 26 April 1883 in the presence of Col Sir Francis Burdett RWPGS himself.
He was also a member of the Aldersgate Past Officers Club.
