Sir Thomas White Chapter No 1820

Sir Thomas White Chapter No 1820 is a Chapter in the Order of the Holy Royal Arch.

We were founded by, and are linked to Sir Thomas White Lodge No 1820, and share their number on the Register of the United Grand Lodge of England, but these days the Chapter welcomes anyone with a connection to Merchant Taylors’ School and the wider PSLC.

Our Chapter is named after Sir Thomas White (1492 – 1567), an English cloth merchant, Lord Mayor of London in 1553, and a civic benefactor and founder of St John’s College, Oxford.

We meet three times a year in London’s Mark Masons’ Hall in January, June and November.
